What does the "standard" category mean when renting a car?
When renting a car, most people would describe standard cars as large cars. They can seat five people and are comfortable for longer journeys.

They may differ slightly in features and appearance, but they all have similar power engines and are similar in size and space for passengers and luggage. So, you can get one of these - as well as one of the other standard cars not shown - when you hire a standard category car.
i.e.: Chevrolet Lacetti, Opel Astra, Volskwagen Golf.
